Botox® Experiences - Frank Hickey

If my memory is correct I have been getting Botox® injections now for about 8 - 10 years although it seems much longer. I go to Corks University Hospital, Cork City (Ireland), about 4 or 5 times a year where a consultant opthamologist gives me about 5 Botox® injections to the left side of my face. The opthamologist tells me it's the maximum dose possible. Sometimes the injections leave me almost spasm free; other times they have limited effect. It’s unknown why. I've never had any side effects except some slight facial numbness. I'm fortunate that these treatments are absolutely free. As far as I know there are no other treatments available to me so for the foreseeable future I will continue with the Botox®. It only takes about five minutes for the injections and I live within a mile of the hospital.
