Botox® Experiences - Linda Camac

I had one injection of Botox® to quiet my left eye (before I developed Hemifacial spasms I only had a left eye tic). A plastic surgeon/eye specialist did the procedure; however, I got a very esthetically poor result. She injected both upper and lower left lids. The eye did quiet down for approximately 10 weeks but I looked very odd (like one eye had a surprised expression all of the time), and as a permanent result the skin under my left eye has lost it's integrity. It is looser than the right side, which was never injected.

I don't know if I would attempt it again with another doctor.
