Botox® Experiences - Myrna Alzate
My Botox® experience was not pleasant and if that were my last option today, I would not take it. It never worked for me. My left eye closed for over a month and my mouth was crooked for the longest time. I had 4 sessions of Botox® and I did not get any relief for the spasm.
I finally had my MVD on Feb. 19, 2004 and I am now "SPASM FREE". I found a neurosurgeon near my hometown, which made it easy for my family and me. I am still recovering but I feel great and I know I am going to continue to improve. My doctor's name is Dr. Michael Schulder and his specialty is brain tumors and base of the skull surgery. Great doctor, I am afraid I can't say the same thing about the hospital.
