Symptoms Experienced:
I started with an eye twitch, then eventually the twitch became full spasms down the right side of my face.
Medications Tried: I tried relaxants at first, then when I was diagnosed the doctor tried Artan. I stopped that med because it was making it hard for me to function.

I have been taking Botox shots for a few years. At first they worked well although the side effects are horrible. But now, they stop working sooner. The tics are getting worse.

Update as of 11/03/09 - I can happily say that I continue to be spasm free. What a wonderful treat it is to be able to smile again. I have gotten so that I actually like it. I can not thank Jack, Wilma and this group for all of the information and support they have given me.
