Treatment History
Symptoms Experienced:
Contracted Bell's Palsy 5/31/07, HFS started about a week later. I have both now.
Medications Tried: Lyrica - not working, many side effects.
Trileptal - not working, side effects.
Xanex - just started, seems to give best relief so far, but groggy side effects.
Alternative Treatments Tried:
One session of speech therapy to show me exercises when the pain of HFS occurs. It lasts about 5 minutes or less. Also, just medications so far.

Trying very hard to find a doctor/neurologist who is familiar with HFS/Bell's Palsy in my area. I hurt very much and I am getting frustrated as I seems I am not getting any treatment to address the issue and/or relieve the pain.
