Update as of 07/03/09 – The bad news is that the surgeon found that I had an aneurysm forming that had to be wrapped and quite a lot of movement was required. The result is that I have had no hearing in my right (HFS) ear since my MVD. They are not sure whether this will come back or not because it could be air around the ear. The main trouble has been that I have had double vision and they are still not sure if I had a stroke or not as my blood pressure went through the roof. The good news is that I have been spasm free since the operation.
